Hubby's Approved Gifts for Men this Holiday Season

Man Philosophy #14: A Man's Heart
This year, Hubby and I rekindled our romance and ended our 3 year separation. He wanted to be more involved with my life as a writer and mom blogger, so I gave him his own section of my blog:

Man Philosophy.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting the amazing response to Hubby's Man Philosophy crap idea. I got email after email from women saying they laughed so hard, then showed it to their husbands, who all simply said, 'Yep, that's right.' One woman asked if she could get a T-shirt with one of the sayings on it... and the Man Philosophy product line began.

These shirts and PJ sets are Hubby approved for men to wear, and definitely make the most unique (and funny as hell) gift this holiday season.

Any of the links in this email will send you directly to Inklings' Merch Store, which is the ONLY place you can get the Man Philosophy line. If you see them anywhere else, they are non-thinking stealers who are infringing on copyrights. Let me know if you see any, please.

Man Philosophy: Top 10 Woman Shows

Another installment of Man Philosophy, and now y'all know that I married a smart ass! For the newbies to the site, we've had the intro Man Philosophy post and the cooking post, and don't forget about the Man Philosophy merch stuffs. Enjoy! ~Tatted Mom

Hello all, it's Hubby. I've been asked for weeks to write a new blog for Tatted Mom. The problem is, I haven't been inspired to write about anything in particular. So, I'm sitting here watching tv and wishing I was with the wife. Now, I'm inspired. It occured to me that guys out there need a list of tv shows that all women love that they can happily watch together for that all important "quality time". This list is in no particular order so please enjoy.

Note: Some of these shows aren't on tv anymore but are easy to download or catch on netflix.

Top 10 Man Woman Shows
  1. Sopranos: This show is a classic in most wives circles. I have not idea why, but men, your women love this show. It must be the mafia, sex, and violence of it all. She'll always love cuddling on the couch to see Tony whack some wannabe wiseguy.
  2. Spartacus: You'll notice on this list that most women love violence, blood, and insane amounts of nudity. As men, even though we don't like it, we have to try to sit through this filth to make our women happy. This show set in ancient Rome is surprisingly accurate considering all of the over the top gore. That's why I am able to sit through this when my wife wants to watch it...for the historical aspect. Be warned men, you'll have to turn away when the graphic nudity happens.
  3. A-Team: Sometimes women like to go old school. It seems mindless to us men but women love watching a completely unbelievable group of Vietnam vets turned mercenaries. I'd rather read a good romance novel while my wife wants to catch a rerun of this show but, I'll put romance off for her.

Man Philosophy: When Did Women Stop Cooking?

It's time for another installment of Man Philosophy, written by Hubby. This one is a doozie- have fun, y'all! ~ Tatted Mom

What's up Ink people? Its Hubby again.  I was asked to write you guys another blog post and I'm always willing to help out the wife, especially when I've been promised certain things! She won't pay up 'tll I write this so... As Tatted Mom has told you all before, she and I have spent the better part of the last four years with our heads up our asses.  It was a learning experience in some ways, so I can't say it was all bad.  But, in this time, we both dated other people.  I think what we learned the most is that "other people" suck and Tatted Mom and myself are made for each other.  Now, throughout my stint with "other people", I learned some things about a lot of women that I didn't think was a big deal at first but it blows my mind now.

When did women stop cooking??

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that the kitchen is a woman's place and you should be in there barefoot and pregnant.  But every woman in my life growing up, in my opinion, could handle herself in the kitchen.  They knew how to feed their family.   In the years I was seperated I dated a broad range of women.  I wasn't a man whore, but I met a few.  I met people through friends and met people online.  Do you know how many of them cooked?  None.  It was a trait I looked for!! Many of them had "I can't cook and hate the kitchen" written in their profiles.   This is one of a countless many reasons why I love my wife to death, she can cook!! (I'm glad I have you back baby.)

Introducing 'Man Philosophy'

I finally convinced Hubby to write for my blog. He's full of shit creative ideas that I find funny as hell, so why not give him an outlet, and help out with the male followers I'm quickly gaining? Now you all can see for yourself what type of crazy brave amazing man puts up with my craziness.

So, without further ado, here's the first installment of Man Philosophy... Enjoy!

Hello Inklingers. I'm Hubby. Over the last few months I've been a pretty big Inklings of Life follower. Not only does it make me laugh, but I also get a good idea of what's happening on the homefront while I'm away, Plus, guys always need help understanding their wives, and Inklings helps me understand my crazy wife a little better.

For the last few weeks, the wife has been asking me for a man's insight; a sub-blog. Since I'm pretty much great at everything, I said I would, because it makes her happy.

Now, I'm a man, and most men take pride in that and when we say we're going to do something, we always do it... maybe... unless it's raining, or the game is on, or we're tired, or a stranger made us mad, or Walmart is involved, or we doubt we'll get sex afterwards... you know, the usual stuff. So, since I'm pretty sure I'm going to get some good lovin' for this, I'm now a part time blogger.

The first blog is going to be a random compilation of some basic Man Philosophy... just a few basic rules to keep in mind when dealing with us heathens. I'll be jumping around the list for each post, so don't think I'm omitting ones.
